Final Unit 5 Debris Pickup Scheduled

Wise County has scheduled the final debris pickup for Unit 5 residents on Wednesday, May 20.

Residents are encouraged to make sure all remaining storm debris is placed at the curb before pickup day. County crews will only be able to collect debris that is already curbside within Unit 5.

To help crews work as efficiently as possible, debris should be separated into three distinct piles:

* Appliances

* Lumber / construction debris

* Brush / tree limbs

Properly sorting materials helps ensure debris can be collected safely and efficiently.
