Boil Water Notice Rescinded – Unit 6

The City of Runaway Bay has officially rescinded the Boil Water Notice for Unit 6, effective September 3, 2026.

The public water system has completed the necessary corrective actions, and laboratory test results provided to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) confirm that the water no longer requires boiling prior to drinking or human consumption.

Residents in Unit 6 may resume normal water use.
